How many car parking spaces does Lakeside have?
Lakeside has 13,000 FREE parking spaces so parking here is never a problem!

What are the nearest road links?
We are located off J30/31 of the M25, follow the A1306 signposted Lakeside (Thurrock). Also the A13 is another excellent major route.

Do you hire out mobility scooters and wheelchairs?
Yes! it is a free service plus we have just re-designed our shopmobility office to include a fantastic reception area. It is conveniently located within Car Park 10 on Level 1and close to Debenhams for easy access into the centre. Visitors with limited mobility can also choose from many ordinary and electric wheelchairs and scooters, giving them the freedom to get around the centre. Scooters and wheelchairs can be pre-booked on 01708 869744 (we strongly advise pre-booking at peak times). You must provide identification such as a passport AND utility bill at the point of hire.

Where can I eat or drink at Lakeside?
Visit the Food Court on Level 3 for a wide range of snacks and drinks. There are also plenty of alternatives dotted around Levels 1 and 2 and the Lake. There’s even a restaurant and pub called Old Orleans on the lake.

The Boardwalk is the ideal destination to eat for families. With some restaurants open for breakfast and all open until late there's sure to be one to suit the whole family.

Choose from La Tasca, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Giraffe, Cafe Rouge, Bella Italia, Wagamama, Strada, Old Orleans, Nando's and Spur. Plus Hannah Banana - a revolutionary new concept in entertainment of children!

You'll find The Boardwalk at the end of Brompton Walk, on level 2.

How do I get to Lakeside?
By Car: Lakeside is clearly signposted from Junctions 30 and 31 off the M25. Direct Centre access is provided by the A13, A1306 and West Thurrock Way. By Bus: Regular services to Lakeside are run by the Arriva, Thamesway and County bus comapnies - timetable information is available directly from these companies and other local services. The bus station is located outside Debenhams. By Taxi: A taxi rank is conveniently located near the Pavilion and Cinema. By Rail: C2C runs direct trains from Southen and Fenchurch Street to Lakeside every 30 minutes. For train times see www.c2c-online.co.uk

What baby changing facilities are there at Lakeside?
Our award winning baby change room for both mums and dads can be found on Level 3. Baby-change facilities can also be found in Boots and M&S and next to the toilets by Debenhams and House of Fraser.

Does Lakeside have any customer shopping lockers?
If you want to leave your heavy bags, why not use the shopping lockers on Level 3. 50p per half hour, which you pay on return. They are safe and secure and can be found on level 3.

For somewhere nice to eat, why not try The Boardwalk with its wide range of fabulous restaurants ranging from Wagamama's to the Gourmet Burger Kitchen.  Find The Boardwalk at the end of Brompton Walk, Level 2.

Check out the new concept Vue Cinema with the new Vue 'Evolution' screen, all kinds of seating ranging from couches to bean bags, satellite screenings, 'Gold Class' screens with bottomless popcorn, and 9 new wall-to-wall, floor-to-floor cinema screens for the whole family.

How can I find out about what's going on at Lakeside?
Visit the News & Events page, join our Text Service (start today by texting 07797 882288 with a three digit code: F27 if you're female aged 27 etc), pick up a copy of our customer magazine, Shopping etc, pick up all the latest leaflets on the mall or visit the information desks on Level 1 and 2.

Where are the toilets?
Toilets are located at each end of Level 1, next to House of Fraser and Debenhams and next to Well Heeled on Level 3. The major stores and restaurants also have customer toilets.

If you have lost something while visiting Lakeside then please contact our Lost property team on 01708 684320 or 01708 684321. Please note that we will ask for proof of ownership to make sure we give property back to it's rightful owner, we hope you understand.

Do you have wheelchair provisions?
We provide free wheelchairs, powered scooters and everything else you might need to enjoy your day's shoppng. You don't have to be registered as disabled to use the service, and it doesn't matter if you're young or old. You'll find shopmobility in Car Park 10 (Blue) on Level 1. Just follow the signs. It's a good idea to book in advance and you can do this by calling 01708 869 744.

RAC Breakdown Service
If you are unfortunate enough to breakdown at Lakeside the RAC will be able to give you breakdown cover free of charge. You can also be towed up to 10 miles. Just contact a Customer Service Advisor in the centre.
