Hit The Spot And Go Wild This Winter

Fashion trends have succumbed to all things feline this season. Everywhere you look at Lakeside there are leopard print clothes, shoes and accessories roaring out at you. But how can you carry off the look without looking like you’re going to a fancy dress party?

There are two rules to follow: 1) keep it simple with just touches of leopard print and 2) never wear it too tight to the body. Combined with the other key trends of the season – chic tailoring and sombre tones – you can ensure your look is spot on in the style stakes!

Dorothy Perkins is stocking a great leopard print ribbon cardigan for £25. It‘s a basic piece that you can work into your current wardrobe, with jeans, simple skirts and trousers - it will also look absolutely fabulous with the new platform heels!

For something slightly more edgy, team a classic black top with H&M’s leopard print skirt, £29.99, and black patent leather shoes from New Look.

If you’re worried about overdoing it, simply accessorise with prints instead. There are a whole host of accessories available at Lakeside. Head to Principles for its gorgeous leopard print leather belt with a square buckle (£19) or try Accessorize for a basic wool scarf (£22). Per Una at Marks & Spencer has a stunning leopard print faux-fur clutch bag (£15) while Kurt Geiger at House of Fraser has a killer pair of leopard print court shoes, priced at £119.

If animal print is altogether a bit too much for your wardrobe to handle, then just ensure you have some of the other key must haves for the autumn and winter season:-

- A n oversized bag. Yes they have got even bigger. If you’re looking for a designer bag try the new Nuovedive range exclusive to Stead & Simpson at Lakeside.
- A jumper dress – go for either loose and baggy or tight and sexy! French Connection at Lakeside is stocking a fabulous grey, belted sweater dress for £60.
- A boy cut trouser suit. Head to the brand new T.M. Lewin store at Lakeside for fantastic tailoring.
